This online practical course introduces different techniques to capture gardens through drawings and paintings. Some reference to past masters will be used as examples as well as my own work as we look at capturing everything from flowers to garden walls. A range of materials will be used to teach the course that includes tutor demonstrations, plus discussions and tutor-led examples. Some of the sessions will be guided, but there will be room for you to choose what subjects you draw or paint.


5x 2 hour sessions 7 - 9pm
Monday 12th, 19th, 26th April and 10th, 17th May 2021


Materials: Pencils, and acrylics or watercolours. Optional: Coloured pencils
