June Workshop: Cakes in Pen & Wash
This one-day workshop for adults looks at creating drawings in ink with a watercolour wash. Last run in 2018 but with a new subject and exercises it will suit returning students and those new to this technique too. Tutored by professional artist Sue Pownall with plenty of time for you to explore the techniques.
Our subject to practice the technique will be cakes. Included in the course fee, eveyone will get their own individual cake for the final practice.
Saturday June 19th 10 - 4pm
Equipment Black fineliner pens or similar with 0.3 and 0.5 nibs, pencil, A5/A4 watercolour paper (300gsm) or mixed-media paper, watercolours. An assortment of brushes. (eg. 6, 8, 10 round). For lunch, students should bring their own packed lunch.
