Recording Nature in Pen & Ink: A 1 day workshop (updated for 2024)
This practical workshop aims to develop the basic techniques of pen & ink to create ink drawings using nature as our inspiration.
Tutored by professional artist Sue Pownall, in a new venue of Mount Bures Village Hall, with plenty of demonstrations, practical time, and one-to-one instruction. This workshop will suit both beginners and improvers.
You will be using fine-liner pens to develop hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling techniques. During the day, there is a range of activities that includes tutor demonstrations, one-to-one tuition and tutor-led examples. An informal approach is used with everyone encouraged to interact. Some of the sessions will be guided, but there will be room for you to choose what subjects you draw.
Booking is being taken now at the 2022 price of £65. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are available throughout the day. An equipment list will be sent on booking.
